Chelan Permanent Jewelry Pop-up Event at Bloom Boutique
Lake Chelan’s very own Charlie and Matt Mathews suddenly and unexpectedly said goodbye to their 6 yr old son, Ezekiel (Zeke). Very few of us can only begin to fathom the profound sorrow and depth of incapacitating grief that arises from the sudden and unexpected loss of a young child. In addition to the indescribable emotional toll on their family, their mounting financial burden is unimaginable – medical bills, time away from their small businesses (Lake Chelan Massage and Spa, Bloom Boutique and Deep Water Electronics), etc.
As we and others in our Chelan Valley community believe, our collective purpose and existence is rooted in mutual care and support of others, especially during challenging times: “Love your neighbor as yourself”, Matthew 22.39. As a very small way of helping the Mathews family, Chelan Links Permanent Jewelry has scheduled a pop-up fundraiser event at Charlie’s beautiful Bloom Boutique on Friday, December 15th from 10:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. (Bloom Boutique is an extension of Charlie’s Lake Chelan Massage and Spa and is located at 115 S. Emerson St, in downtown Chelan.)
Every penny from every Chelan Links sale will go to the Mathews family. Additionally, in the spirit of generosity, you will also be able to make an on-the-spot donation to the Mathews family. We will accept cash, credit cards, Venmo, Paypal, Venmo, and Apple Pay. Chelan Links will cover all of electronic transaction fees so that every penny you pay and donate goes directly to the family. Not only will you walk away with a beautiful piece of permanent jewelry, but you will also have made a heartfelt donation to Charlie, Matt and their family.
In addition to attending the pop-up event on the 15th, here are more ways that you can support the Mathews family:
- Please remember to shop at Charlie’s Bloom Boutique and Lake Chelan Massage and Spa for your holiday gifts and gift certificates.
- Contribute to their GoFundMe at: https://gofund.me/8e2a500e
- If you’d like to give in a different way, please reach out to Jacquelyn Dalton on Facebook.
- Last, but not least, please continue pray for the entire Mathews family.
Please join us on December 15th to support the Mathews family and honor Zeke.
