Restore the Shore IV
Restore the Shore IV – Community Beach Cleanup
Join the 4th annual Restore the Shore community-wide beach cleanup in Lake Chelan on Saturday, March 21, 2026, from 9:30 AM – 12:30 PM. Volunteers can meet at the City of Chelan Marina parking lot or head directly to a shoreline cleanup location.
This event, organized by the Lake Chelan Research Institute, helps track trash and litter in the lake. All collected trash must be logged—either through the TrashBlitz app, by giving it to a Beach Section Leader, or by dropping it off at the LCRI office (601 W. Woodin Ave.). Please do not simply throw trash away, as documenting what is collected is a key part of the project.
A volunteer appreciation reception with coffee, cocoa, tea, and pastries will follow from 1:00 – 3:00 PM at Campbell’s Resort in their Park Room.
Volunteers can simply show up or sign up in advance for a specific cleanup location. Community members of all ages are encouraged to participate and help keep Lake Chelan clean and healthy. https://forms.gle/
