Summer Sundown Block Party 2023

Welcome to an evening of gathering with your friends in the neighborhood to support Thrive Chelan Valley’s first Summer Sundown Block Party Fundraiser. Price of admission includes a delicious BBQ dinner prepared by Sunset Beach Bar, wine/beverages, live auction, entertainment by DJ Shai, and games on the beautiful lawn of Tipsy Canyon. All event proceeds will support Thrive’s youth programming.

Thrive’s mission is to serve, empower, and advocate for all youth in the Chelan Valley through our three programs: Thrive Cares, Thrive Mentoring, and Thrive Teen Center. Thrive Cares is a wraparound service model providing basic and urgent needs to all ages of children, which includes the Food2Schools program. Thrive Mentoring is a 1:1 mentoring program which supports teens in their growth, development and resilience.  In addition to 1:1 mentoring participants were provided monthly group opportunities to gather at fun events like sledding, ice skating, bowling, cooking classes, and much more. And lastly, the Teen Center, which is the flagship of Thrive. It first opened in 1999 as the Chelan Teen Center and has seen many changes through the years. The Teen Center is currently open two days a week and serves a meal every Tuesday thanks to the generosity of local business sponsors. Thanks to thoughtful donors and volunteers, teens can get help with their studies, play games of all kinds, learn a new skill, get a snack, and just hang out. While at the Teen Center, teens in need have access to the Hygiene Closet, Clothes Closet and Food Pantry.
