SUMMARY:Summer U-Pick & Family Day @ Chelan Ranch
DESCRIPTION:We’re inviting everyone out to the farm again for a fun\, family-friendly event—Chelan Ranch’s Summer U-Pick & Family Day on Saturday\, August 2nd. \nFrom 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.\, you’ll be able to pick your own organic blueberries and lavender right from our orchard\, just a quick 10-minute drive from downtown Chelan. (If you’re familiar with Boyd Road\, we’re about 5 minutes up.) Organic cherries may still be available for U-pick in limited quantities\, though they may be past peak ripeness. We’ll have trimmers and buckets ready for you\, but feel free to bring your own sun hats\, water bottles\, lawn chairs\, or anything else you want for a relaxing summer day on the farm. \nPricing: \n\nU-pick organic blueberries and (limited) cherries: $4/lb \nBuild-your-own lavender bouquet: $5 \nLive music\, face painting\, games\, and scavenger hunt: Free \nFood and drinks will be available for purchase from local vendors \n\nOur farm store will also be open\, offering pre-picked organic cherries and blueberries\, and frozen blueberries and strawberries\, along with farm-fresh eggs\, local honey\, organic caramel sauce\, apples\, cold water\, sodas\, koozies\, and cooler bags. \nFrom 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.\, enjoy live music and local vendors serving up fresh flavors and cold drinks. \nAugust 2nd Activities & Vendors: \n\nFarm-Themed Scavenger Hunt with Prizes\n Pick up a bingo card and explore the farm! Win a small prize for getting a bingo\, or go for a blackout to earn a bigger reward. \nOutdoor Games & Kids Art Activities\n Creative fun with paint made from crushed blueberries and cherries\, plus yard games like cornhole\, bocce ball\, and hula hoops. \nFree Face Painting\n Available from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.—perfect for kids of all ages. \nLive Music by Mac Potts\n Soulful\, family-friendly tunes from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. by the talented Mac Potts. \nDulce Delicia\n A family-run favorite serving tacos and refreshing fruit-based drinks like aguas frescas. \nThe Boba Spot\n Cool off with teas and boba drinks crafted with fresh fruit flavors. \n\nCome for the fruit\, stay for the fun!
