DESCRIPTION:Saddle up and head to Winthrop\, Washington\, as the charming old-west town proudly celebrates the Oak Anniversary 80th Annual 49er Days Celebration – May 9th to May 11th\, 2025. This beloved community tradition brings the spirit of the gold rush era to life with a weekend packed full of family-friendly events\, exciting competitions\, and a healthy dose of western charm. \nFor eight decades\, 49er Days has been a vibrant community tradition of Winthrop\, drawing locals and visitors alike to commemorate the town’s rich history and vibrant community spirit. Attendees can look forward to greeting the Washington Outfitters and Guides “Ride the Rendezvous” horses and wagons as they roll through town at high-noon on Friday\, May 9th. On Saturday\, May 10th at 11am\, enjoy the ever-popular Grand Parade\, showcasing colorful floats\, equestrian groups\, vintage vehicles\, and local personalities.  \nBeyond the signature events\, Winthrop 49er Days offers a diverse range of activities for all ages. Enjoy live music and dancing\, browse unique artisan vendors\, test your rodeo skills on the mechanical bull\, and satisfy your appetite with delicious food from local eateries and food vendors. Kids will have a blast with dedicated children’s activities and games all weekend long. Saturday evening\, dust off your dancing boots for the Winthrop 49er Days Barn Dance at 7pm with live music from Pack String & Friends. \nDon’t miss this iconic celebration of Winthrop’s past and present.
